Las Vegas Window Film Installation Process

At Las Vegas Window Film, we take pride in a job well done. In fact, we have spent years developing and adjusting our methods–always looking for new ways we can improve our process. Over time, we’ve developed our proprietary installation process.  One that we use for all window tint installs. This honed process is used in all work we conduct on your Las Vegas home, business, or building.  It is not only well thought out and time-tested but completed in an accurate, timely manner and will last for an extended period.

Step One: Consultation

Your experience with Window Film Las Vegas begins with an on-site consultation with your assigned project manager. They will visit your Las Vegas property to learn more about your goals and what you hope to get done with your window film project. During this time, they can show you different samples of window tint varying in shade or style and even function. They may also take site measurements and conduct a brief inspection to identify any possible outcomes. Once all the details have been discussed, we will provide you with an accurate estimate. Once accepted, we will schedule an appointment for the installation at a time that’s convenient for you.

Step Two: Preparation

To streamline the installation process, we prepare all materials and plans ahead of time at our office. We precut all of the window tint using a high-powered plotter. This means it is all ready to go when it arrives at your home. Not only does this help us waste less product, but it also makes our business more eco-friendly.

Step Three: Installation

During the day of your appointment, we will arrive at your Las Vegas home or business to install the tint. We start the installation by cleaning all the glass to remove dirt or debris that would stop the tint from adhering correctly. Once the cleaned glass is ready, it is primed using C-Bond*. This primer has been proven to improve the bond between film and glass and has many benefits. Once your new film is applied to the primed glass, residual primer is removed using a squeegee. The glass and the tint are carefully cleaned and inspected using a soft cloth. The tint is allowed to dry and set, and the installation is complete.

*Please note that window tint is not primed with C-Bond and may take longer to dry and achieve complete clarity.

Why We Use C-Bond
C-Bond is a window tint primer that strengthens glass and window film products. There are two types of C-Bond systems: C-Bond I and C-Bond II. Here at Las Vegas Window Film, we use C-Bond I for most window tint installs but are also happy to offer C-Bond II for customers who desire a more advanced primer–feel free to talk to us about that. C-Bond is a stellar addition to the window film process because it expedites the installation process and allows the tint to adhere better and perform better over time.
